Erin Chambers, FNP

Erin Chambers, FNP works with patients at The Women’s Health Center providing care including annual well-woman exams, cervical cancer screening, UTIs, vaginal infections, prenatal visits, contraception, and preventive care & education.  Mindful of how the mind and body affect each other, her further interests include improving women’s overall sense of well-being, mood, energy, self-concept, and coping with stress and anxiety.

Erin was born and raised in southern California, and received her undergraduate degree at California State University, Fullerton.  Her first career was in animal medicine and worked as the Head Registered Veterinary Technician for an Internal Medicine specialty referral practice in Pasadena, California.  This position fulfilled Erin’s love of and desire to care for animals, but also piqued her interest in specialty medicine.  Desiring to move into a role that allowed her to be active in the work-up, diagnosis, and plan of care for patients (while shifting animals back to the “leisure” category of life), Erin returned to school and received a Master’s in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.

Throughout her education and experience with many Doctors and Nurse Practitioners, Erin developed an appreciation for the positive influence a great Women’s Health provider can have on a woman’s confidence and wellness, and actively geared studies toward the specialty.  Erin’s outside interests include nearly all sports, anything outdoors including camping, hiking, catching sunsets, exploring the tides, and generally discovering new places… and of course, all the animals!!
